I have served as a Senior lecturer in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering at Haramaya Institute of Technology, Haramaya University, for over 10 years. My work encompasses diverse research areas, including hydrology, water accounting, water footprint, water productivity, soil and water conservation, climate change, land degradation, and water resource management. I have contributed to the field through the publication of 8 peer-reviewed international journals, and disseminate my works in 3 international conferences. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Hydrology and Water resource management at Addis Ababa University, Africa Center of Excellence for Water Management.
