"I am currently working as a researcher in the Forest and Rangeland Plants Biodiversity department at Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In my current job and previous career, I have accumulated huge experience in biodiversity conservation research. During my role as seed physiologist since July 2008, I am working on germplasm acquisition, conservation, seed viability test, distribution, documentation and procurement activities. Before I joined Ethiopian Biodiversity, I have worked for about six years in two regional governmental organizations (Agricultural and environmental protection Bureaus) as Natural Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection expert from 2001-2005. On the other hand my engagement in different roles in my institute including working as focal person for projects helped me to work with different local and international partners. I have self-sufficient, excellent communication, writing and data interpretation skills. I have the ability to work independently and independent scientific research investigations. I am also a good team leader with good emotional intelligence and excellent communication and writing skills.
